THE UNDERGROUND COMEDY RAILROAD TOUR

This February 26th until March 26th, the first all black Canadian comedy tour "The underground comedy railroad" will play across Canada. The tour's lineup is steadfast, accomplished Canadian comedians who are truly outstanding homegrown celebrities, who offer a remarkable perspective which is uniquely Canadian.

The line-up includes Rodney Ramsey, a Just for Laughs veteran and co-creator of "The Flipside" a new hit internet tv show. Additionally, Parick Haye adds his talent, he was recently a finalist on Comedy Network's "Great Canadian Laugh". Rounding out this list of talented comedians are Andrew Searles, nominated one of Montreal's top ten best comics, and Daniel Woodrow who is a regular on Much Music's "Video on Trial".Recently added to the Ottawa and Montreal shows is Keesha Brownie, producer of the “Jokers Corner Show” and Eddy King, who has taken part in the Rachid Badouri‘s gala (Just for Laughs 2008).

As the original Underground Railroad gave freedom and opportunity to oppressed African Americans many years ago, The Underground Comedy Railroad tour will introduce the voice of black Canadians, who have limited acces to the mainstream media, to our fellow citizens. Setting off during Black history month, the tours objective is to give centre stage to one of the countries smallest visable minorities.
